Pan Roasted Chicken



Pang and I bought some chicken drums this week, so tonight I decided to make some pan roasted chicken with them. I really wanted to make pan roasted chicken with chicken breasts, but the drums were on sale, so I had to make do and simply de-boned the drums)




Ingredients:

12 chicken drums (with skin, bone removed)
½ lemon, juiced
~2 tablespoons sugar
~ 1 teaspoons black pepper
~ 2 teaspoons cayenne Pepper
~ 1 teaspoons salt

1. mix all the ingredients together and let marinate for 15 minutes
2. heat up a pan with 2 tablespoons of oil
3. place chicken skin side down in the pan
4. brown skin to make sure it is crispy, turn once
5. place browned chicken on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes
6. let chicken rest as you prepare and plate the rice
